Maria’s Kitchen is a charming, south-of-the-border-inspired Brownsburg restaurant which serves much more than Mexican-inspired fare.
Located in a Brownsburg strip mall on North Green Street, Maria’s Kitchen is right on the main artery that travels North-South through town, at the southern edge of Brownsburg. This gives it the advantage of easy access to other nearby cities in Indiana, plus lots of free parking.
The warmly-decorated restaurant has a nicely understated style, with brick and plaster walls, traditional arches and hanging plants, and a cream, red and slate blue color palate. There’s a bar area, separated from the dining area, as well.
Prices at Maria’s Kitchen Restaurant in Brownsburg are more than fair, and the wait staff is gracious and friendly. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner, offering favorite items such as Country Fried Steak, Prime Rib, Penne Pasta with an Alfredo sauce, chicken and shrimp and Grilled Chicken and served with rice and a salad.
Only open since 2009, this pleasant eatery is still not a household word. But rumor has it that its list of fans is growing daily. The upside of being a greater Indianapolis restaurant in its virtual infancy, of course, is that it’s never so crowded that they can’t give excellent attention to each and every customer.
There is an abundance of restaurants in west Indianapolis, but If you find yourself in the area, and hungry, give Maria’s Kitchen a try. You’re more than likely to become one of their fans, too.
